I’m home! haha

I’m going to make this update rather short… I don’t really want to spend too much of my vacation time typing out a whole essay, so I’m just going to summarize.

So! I’ve been here in HK for almost 3 weeks now. It’s nearing the end of my trip; I’ll be coming back to Vancouver on Monday!! I guess you can say I’m looking forward to going home, but I also want to stay here a bit longer too haha… Unfortunately, it’s back to school for me this semester, so I’m going to have to leave for sure…

So… My long 4-month break is coming to an end… Although there is still about a month left until school actually starts, I can feel that it’s just around the corner. Right now, I should actually be boarding a plane on my way to Hong Kong, but due to some unforeseen circumstances, I am sitting at home (in Vancouver, still) updating my blog instead.

Soo… For those that didn’t know, I performed with Andy (TBeezy) for the Stylish Magic Talent Show on Oct. 30th. Long story short, we won the talent show!! We got a cash prize, and some small gifts from SM.. But they also said that part of the prize was “a chance to be on media” (which none of us know what that actually means lol) so we have yet to see what’s up with that, since they haven’t said anything about it… Anyhow… the performance was actually pretty bad compared to what I had wanted it to be like…

They have “Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love For You” Khalil version. So happy. hahaha XD

So I got Khalil’s new CD last night… And started listening to it. I didn’t finish the entire thing until tonight, but it’s so good!! I really like his style… It’s like.. listening to a song I know, but it’s a new song altogether. Granted, some sound a little weird, like his cover for Michael Jackson’s “Bad”, but on a whole, it’s really good. My favourite song is probably his cover for 紅豆 (Red Bean) which obviously EVERYONE’S heard already XD haha… but still, that one’s my favourite… Here’s a list of the songs:

I went to sing K again! Second time within the last 3 days now haha… Lately, I’ve always been going with the same group of people, singing pretty much the same songs over and over again. It’s fun, no doubt, since I like to sing karaoke, but I felt that I wasn’t really improving… It was just the same routine over and over again.

Today, I was finally able to sing with one of my friends that’s a really good singer. I remember when I first heard her sing, I was completely amazed by her voice, and right then and there I had felt that she was the best singer out of all my friends. All along, I hadn’t been able to set up a time with her to go singing with her again, but finally, today we did! She also invited one of her friends to come along, and that’s really where this blog starts…

I just finished my last exam of my summer semester…  Since I’m taking the Fall off, I have a huge 4-month break!  I’m already wondering what I’m going to be doing for these 4 months haha XD  So I thought I’d start this blog.  I may also start working on my website text-based game that I had started brainstorming for like… a year ago lol so we’ll see!
